CICADAMATA SKIN KIT v0.3.1
Custom models for CICADAMATA (Steam): Fawn's arms, the third-person body and the Joyeuse.

Runs as a GDPatch mod. Nothing in the game's own files is modified: the changes are
applied in memory each time the game starts, and removing the files restores vanilla.

What it does
------------
  * Replaces the meshes of the game's own rigs with custom models:
      - the first-person rig (Fawn's arms and the Joyeuse gun),
      - the third-person body (the rig the game's replay ghosts and the VERSUS rival
        ghost use), with the gun.
The game's skeleton, animations, IK, attachments and shader keep running unchanged.
  * Skins live in %APPDATA%\CICADAMATA\skinkit\skins\<folder>\ (skin.json + .glb
[+ .png]). Every skin is data only: the manifest is checked field by field, models
are read with Godot's glTF loader (no scripts, no outside files), and a model is
only used if every bone it is weighted to exists in the game's rig.
  * SKIN STUDIO: a browser tool (served by the same server the level browser uses) that
exports the original models and builds new skins for you.
  * GREEN ROOM: a dark room with stands for every animation, your own body and a free
camera, for looking at your skins.
  * Replays: a recorded custom skin is shown to a viewer only if the viewer has the same
skin installed (matched by content hash); otherwise that part shows vanilla.

Settings (Options > MODS > SKIN KIT)
------------------------------------
ENABLED Custom skins on the game's rigs. Off = vanilla models (default on).
RELOAD KEY Toggle reloading skins with F7.
RELOAD SKINS Reload skins from the skins folder.
SKINS FOLDER Open the skins folder.
GREEN ROOM Enter the green room.
SKIN STUDIO Open SKIN STUDIO in your browser.
EXPORT BASE Export the original models and fonts for SKIN STUDIO.
The MODELS page has a row per installed skin for equipping slots.

Notes
-----
  * Works on its own; with CICADAMATA QOL installed, portraits and ghost theater
replays integrate (recorded skins are tagged and matched).
  * Skins are content-hashed; sharing a skin lets others see it in replays.

Requirements
------------
  * CICADAMATA on Windows (Steam).
  * GDPatch 0.2.3 or newer (free, open source, MIT): https://github.com/GDPatch/GDPatch
    Docs: https://gdpatch.dev

Setup
-----
1. Find the game folder.
Steam > right-click CICADAMATA > Manage > Browse local files.
It is the folder with CICADAMATA.exe in it.

2. Install GDPatch (skip if another mod, e.g. CICADAMATA QOL, already needs it).
   a. Download gdpatch_loader.dll from the latest GDPatch release:
      https://github.com/GDPatch/GDPatch/releases/latest
   b. Put it in the game folder, next to CICADAMATA.exe.
   c. Rename it to winmm.dll
(if Windows hides file extensions it shows as "gdpatch_loader"; rename it
      to "winmm").
Some antivirus programs flag winmm.dll as a false positive. If yours deletes it,
allow it in the antivirus and copy it back.

3. Install SKIN KIT.
Copy the GDPatch folder from this zip into the game folder. You should end up with:

     CICADAMATA\
       CICADAMATA.exe
       winmm.dll
       GDPatch\
         mods\
           skinkit\
             gdpatch_mod.toml
             data\...

4. Launch the game. Settings live under Options > MODS > SKIN KIT.

Troubleshooting
---------------
  * No SKIN KIT entry in Options > MODS: check that winmm.dll is next to CICADAMATA.exe
and that a GDPatch folder with output.log appears after launching. Open
GDPatch\output.log and look for lines starting with [skinkit]. Send that file along
    with any report.

Uninstall
---------
Delete the GDPatch\mods\skinkit folder. Settings live in
  %APPDATA%\CICADAMATA\skinkit.cfg and skins in %APPDATA%\CICADAMATA\skinkit\
  (both safe to delete).
